In 2018, Alpont LLC, a subsidiary of Pennsylvania-based Interstate Chemical Company, contracted with Generation Pipeline to develop a new natural gas lateral for deliveries into its new $62 MM chemical facility in Oregon, Ohio.  According to JobsOhio, the company wanted to expand to better serve its customers in Canada and in the Midwest and needed a location with easy access to both its customers and a large supply of low-cost natural gas.  To access the low-cost gas, Interstate Chemical worked closely with Generation Pipeline to create a customized solution hot-tapping GPL’s 850 PSI line and connecting it to the 35-acre site.

In 2019, NCGT and its partners sold Generation Pipeline to Nexus Gas Transmission, LLC a 50/50 partnership between DTE Energy Company and Enbridge Inc.
