Building the Gas Infrastructure Behind Ohio's Growth

North Coast Gas Transmission (NCGT) develops and operates intrastate natural-gas pipelines across Ohio, providing the critical infrastructure that helps industrial, utility, and large-scale projects move from shortlist to commercial operation. NCGT's system has served Ohio since 1998 providing customers with dependable service and schedule certainty. With pipelines extending ~280 miles and expanding, NCGT provides supply diversity and an in-service track record desired by companies looking to develop in Ohio.

Our History

1998: NCGT began natural gas operations initially as a brownfield developer converting legacy liquid lines to gas.

2002: Boosted line capacity with compression.

2006: Expanded by adding 90+ miles of pipeline through acquisitions to reach the Toledo and Marion markets.

By 2009: Developed and executed greenfield projects to expand supply diversity & market reach—building a footprint that now spans 15 counties.

2010s-2020s: Developed purpose-built, high-pressure laterals and interconnects supporting high profile projects such as Oregon Clean Energy / Oregon Lateral (Generation Pipeline), Cleveland-Cliffs HBI (Toledo), Interstate Chemical and POET Ethanol facilities.
